Beth was motivated to teach by the realization that millions of students don’t have access to the opportunities she had. Beth's experience in the classroom inspired her to become a social entrepreneur who gives thousands of students access to high-quality education.

William used innovation and technology to engage his students and help them succeed. Today, he applies these same principles at Google, helps other teachers bring technology into the classroom, and empowers kids by teaching them to code.

Before Nick Melvoin was elected School Board Member in the second largest school district in the country, he was a Teach For America corps member advocating for communities in Los Angeles. He also ran for Congress in 2023. 

Ben always knew he wanted to give back to communities similar to the one he grew up in, outside of Tampa, FL. As a first-generation college students, he wanted to serve as a role model to young men after college.

Mariana’s time in the classroom strengthened her resolve and developed her skills as a leader, propelling her toward a career that's included consulting with Deloitte and edtech leadership.

José grew up in a similar community where he taught and held his students to high standards. His belief that all children deserve an excellent education continues to guide his career in education and nonprofit leadership.
