Nate Snow joined Teach For America as a 2007 Connecticut corps member, teaching seventh and eighth grade English in the Bridgeport Public Schools. He has served as the region's Executive Director since 2011.

Julian Serrão (Connecticut ’12) had difficulty deciding between a career path in education and a more lucrative one in finance. After a visit to a juvenile detention center during his senior year, the decision became much easier.

Kirby Broadnax's Teach For America experience continues to be meaningful years later. As a Connecticut 2008 corps member, Kirby gained a wealth of skills that she applies to her current work, including backwards planning that enables her to effectively reach her goals.
