Thank you for your interest in joining Teach For America’s marathon team!

Fundraising Requirement

Each runner is required to raise a minimum of $3,500 for the organization and pay the registration fee to enter the Marathon ($255 for members, $315 for non-members). If this fundraising goal is not met by the day of the Marathon (November 2, 2025), we will require that runners personally fulfill their remaining balance.

The funds raised through this partnership will support Teach For America’s mission to provide every child with equal access to opportunity.

2025 TCS New York City Marathon Details

The 2025 TCS New York City Marathon will take place on Sunday, November 2nd. The course is 26.2 miles long and takes runners through the five boroughs of NYC. To learn more about the course and what to expect on the day of the race, visit the NYRR Marathon website.

Teach For America team members will receive the following benefits:

• Guaranteed entry to the 2025 TCS New York City Marathon on November 2, 2025
• A personal fundraising page created by TFA staff for your supporters to donate directly to your goal, and staff support in the fundraising process
• Invitations to local events to foster community and deepen your connection with the work TFA is doing
