Cat Shieh

Cat serves as the Chief of Staff for Illinois Health Care Delivery, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois. Cat majored in Poli Sci & Urban Planning at University of Southern California and received her MA from Loyola Marymount. She is a Teach For America alum and taught Ethnic Studies for 5 years in Los Angeles. Her anti-bias & anti-racism curricula have been piloted in the Los Angeles Unified School District. Her educational, organizing, and social policy journeys are rooted in proximity to youth and communities.
