Corps member advisors coach and mentor corps members
to develop their instructional skills and maximize their impact on
student achievement.

CMAs have the training and support
that they need to accelerate incoming corps member effectiveness in the classroom.

specialists have the training and support that they need
to build knowledge and instructional skills in new corps members.

Curriculum specialists deliver high-impact training
sessions to ensure that corps members internalize the
knowledge, skills, and mind-sets necessary to operate as
effective beginning teachers.

Literacy specialists ensure that corps members develop
the necessary knowledge base to advance student literacy
in their classrooms.

(part-time) Resource room specialists
manage resource rooms, which connect corps members to literature, teaching models, and other external instructional tools. Operations Roles: Directors of data management coordinate data analysis that is used to inform instructional and operational decisions at the summer institutes. coordinators are charged with day-to-day management of the institutes to ensure that corps members are able to focus on their own professional development and student achievement. The application deadline for the operations coordinator role is January 23, 2011. Operations directors oversee efficient systems and a team of operations coordinators to ensure that the institute runs smoothly. School operations managers work at school sites to ensure systems runs smoothly and that corps members can focus on their students' learning and their own development. The application deadline for the school operations manager role is January 16, 2011. School Operations Manager Coordinator School operations manager coordinators ensure that school operations managers have the training and support that they need to ensure school sites run smoothly and efficiently. The application deadline for the school operations manager coordinator role is January 9, 2011. Instructional and Operations: School directors serve as a summer school principal for five weeks, leading both the instructional and operations of a school site.
