How have your students been affected by Hurricane Katrina?
Every student lost some amount of significant school-time and, most importantly, stability in their lives. Our students need teachers who will go the extra mile with them to ensure they reach their goals.

What is it like to teach in Greater New Orleans (GNO)?
I teach out in the Bayou and simply love it. Whether it's athletic events, community dinners, or 'po-boys after school, I have a blast. My students are fantastic and I have learned more from them than anything else.

What types of opportunities are available to you in Greater New Orleans?
With the large charter school presence in GNO there are a large number of opportunities to get involved in school leadership and policy.

What is the nightlife like in Greater New Orleans?
GNO nightlife is as varied as the dinner menus in the French Quarter. You can listen to music, eat Creole ice cream, see independent films, play the slots, walk along the river, or dance the night away.
