Welcome and Opening Remarks
The day began with a celebration of the progress we have made across the Atlanta region, dialogue about the current state of affairs of children in Georgia, and identification of opportunities for alumni to be more actively involved. Our morning panel, "We're in the Race, but Are We Moving Fast Enough?" aimed to answer the questions: What issues does our educational system continue to confront that are holding our children back? What needs to be done to tear down the walls so that our students can achieve at nationally competitive levels?
