Our Vision
One Day is Teach For America’s flagship magazine. We promote innovative thinking and bold social action by spotlighting the alumni achievements in pedagogy, advocacy, politics and social entrepreneurship. One Day also covers key issues in education reform and social justice. By sharing stories, knowledge, resources, and tools, we advance alums' individual development and strengthen their connection to the movement.

Our Readers
One Day has a dedicated and well-educated readership. This year, Teach For America was the top employer of graduating seniors from 20 top colleges, including Georgetown, Spelman, and the University of Chicago.

More than 60 percent of Teach For America alums stay in education after their corps commitment, with most working as K-12 teachers. Alums also make important contributions in the fields of law, medicine, and public policy.

At last count, the Teach For America alumni community included some 350 school and district leaders, more than 200 individuals working on Capitol Hill, 23 elected officials, five Rhodes Scholars, three Fulbright recipients, an Olympic silver medalist-and, of course, hundreds of "Teacher of the Year" winners.
